Is Age an influence when Choosing a Partner?

The question is, "Does age matter when choosing a partner?" and the answer is, "not at all". I've gone through my whole life with the same opinion that age is just a number. A person should have the right to love whomever they choose regardless of age difference. Their are certain aspects where it is helpful to choose a partner closer to your age but it's not required. In fact, many women tend to go for older men because women naturally mature faster than men. No offense to men but that's just the way it is. People who are closer together in age tend to share more interests than those who are farther apart in age. However, two people with a huge age difference could still share the same interests. For example, there is an 8 year age difference between me and my fiance' and we are both video game fanatics.

Love, Without Trust, Cannot Last
"I don't trust him." "You can't trust her." Broken trust is like broken egg; it can never be put back together again.
The dictionary definition of trust is the "firm reliance on the integrity, ability or character of a person or thing."
We speak about "love" all the time, but love without trust cannot exist. An old Irish saying states, "When mistrust comes in, love goes out."
Trust is a necessary factor in creating a long-term relationship. It is a necessity in marriage. Trust is something that must be earned.
A deep friendship will never form without trust. Each person must believe the other will not intentionally hurt him by using his own vulnerabilities against him; each must feel the other's respect for personal feelings and values; and neither is expected to "push buttons" to intentionally upset the other. This is the "safety factor" in a relationship.

The pain that I went through
The pain that I put you through
and when I told you the truth
of my mistake that I made
all you could say at the end of the day
was "I love you"
I was scared that I was going to lose you
I was in shock when you still said those three little special words
I wonder why God put us together?
What did I do to deserve you?
But at the end, a lightbulb went off and I suddenly realized that God wouldn't put us together if he knew that we wouldn't last
I will always love you, no matter how much life put us through 'cause we will always make it through together
